HENRYK STAŻEWSKI (1894-1988)
Malarz, przedstawiciel awangardy lat 20. i 30. XX wieku. Tworzył w nurcie konstruktywizmu, był współtwórcą nurtu abstrakcji geometrycznej. Studia artystyczne odbył w latach 1913-1919 w warszawskiej Szkole Sztuk Pięknych w pracowni Stanisława Lentza. Tworzył kompozycje reliefowe, scenografie i plakaty.

Painter, one of the representatives of the avant-garde of the 20s and 30s. He worked in the current of constructivism, he was co-founder of the notion of geometric abstraction. From 1913 to 1919, he studied painting at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts in the studio of Stanislas Lentz. He created reliefs, stage designs and posters.

De 1913 à 1919, il a étudié la peinture à l’École des Beaux-Arts de Varsovie dans le studio de Stanislas Lentz. Il a créé des reliefs, des scénographies et des affiches.
